Emely Barraza, Administrative Clerk

Emely Barraza has been with Stockton East since November 2023 and is currently the Administrative Clerk supporting our constituents by providing excellent customer service to both, internal and external customers. Her warm and welcoming nature has made her a cherished and integral part of the administrative staff. Emely’s favorite part about working at Stockton East is the opportunity to represent the District and channel her creativity. Emely chose her current profession based on the positive energy and welcoming people she encountered during the interview process. Outside of work, Emely enjoys staying active at the gym and spending quality time with friends. Few people know that she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources from Chico State University. Emely is a valued member of Stockton East, contributing significantly to our success and embodying the District’s core values.

“Emely’s warm and welcoming nature has made a meaningful impact on our team. Her background in Human Resources, combined with her positive energy and genuine approach, exemplifies the values of Stockton East. We are grateful for her contributions and look forward to her continued growth and success with us.”

Meet - Chris Donis

Chris Donis, Water Supply Manager

Chris joined Stockton East Water District after completing a temporary project in 2008 and chose his profession because he loved the staff and the work, and wanted to join the Stockton East team.  He enjoys his coworkers, the culture, and the opportunities that the District provides. The most satisfying aspect of his position is sharing the knowledge he’s gained over the past 16 years with new hires and helping shape future projects for SEWD's continued success. In his free time, he enjoys riding motorcycles and spending time with his family. Interestingly, many employees don’t know that he used to bowl and has achieved 10 sanctioned perfect games in league or tournament play.
